Just like every other year, this year the brothers of the Alpha Sigma Chapter participated in the University of Minnesota Homecoming. The brothers of Alpha Sigma were paired with the brothers of Delta Upsilon and Delta Chi, and the sisters of Alpha Omicron Pi. The theme of this year’s Homecoming was “Paint the Town Gold” and the pairing was named “The Golden Ticket.” The Willie Wonka theme was utilized throughout the Homecoming competition.
The Alpha Sigma Brothers and their counterparts placed first in the Lipsync competition, second in the Housefront competition and fourth overall. The time spent with the brothers of the other fraternities has strengthened our relationships. Our time spent with the sisters of AOPi has improved our relationship greatly, and the sisters still spend a lot of time at the Sigma Chi house.
Homecoming was a great success for the brothers of the Alpha Sigma Chapter and we look forward to repeating and improving on that success next year and in our upcoming Springjam.
